New sally vs Real Sally

I think I felt this was worth addressing


I hope ALOT of SEGA sonic fans read this because your version of sonic might as well not exist at this point.

The new Zelda Sonic Lost worlds crossover trailer showed up and I saw it, and it honestly looks like some project some sonic and zelda fans put together let alone any original content from the creators themselves. Sonic doing cross overs seems to be the only thing SEGA can do to make sonic even worth anyone's time anymore, looking at the trailer  all I can think was  " are they really serious.."  its sonic and the black knight Retard edition and by retard I mean lets make it cross over with Zelda because why the fuck not.

Theresa reason this content is "free" no one would pay a nickel for this, they honestly wouldn't unless they were some 8 year old that is a hardcore Nintendo and SEGA fan. The more Sega tries to  make something of sonic the more they lose sight of what made him great from the start.

Sonic doesn't need to mirror mario or be a cope out to be good, sonic was mostly fluid stages that you could zip through and unique boss fights that all have the same type of end point weak spot,  SEGA  making a deal with nintendo is only going to have them lose more of what sonic's image was, Many people still think colors was the best, when the dialog felt forced to me

The best game for sonic out there I would honestly call, Sonic heroes I don't understand why people hated it, the story was interesting it had a more "show but don't tell" setup and the payoff at the end with metal was epic if not a bit of a let down with his design (metal madness I mean), the stories all tied in and everyone didn't act like a idiot like the games today. Another good game was Sonic and the secret rings if I had to say, the story was kind of in the passenger seat but still it was fun to play if not alittle challenging and all the people that complain about the motion controls can pound sand for all I care  its not that damn hard.

How? all I got from it was memory relapse for Sallys surgery  from tails moment on the  operating bed.

But switching gears for a moment I want to talk about sally again.  Differences from the new design and the old.

New sally represents nothing but the statues quo, shes not unique anymore, all the history from the older stories are gone so everyone just has blank slats so there not the same characters anymore, her design two colors away from being an amy recolor and the bracelet blades are nothing but a reminder of the old universe that will never get mentioned again, its reading it and seeing sally is going to be a bitter pill to swallow ever time we see her. I'm not going to pay money to make myself depressed. Giving everyones memories was honestly pointless unless "THEY WOULD DO SOMETHING WITH IT LATER" but there not, its just put there as a excuse to pacify the older fans  and it failed. It would have been better to erase everyone's memories and just start a whole new freaken comic setup then making a new story and dragging the previous one because it feels it needs to.  Because there are many questions and reactions  we SHOULD be getting from everyone, but its all shoved under the rug because the story says so and " forget about that were on this now" seems to be Archies way of thinking.


Original Sally had Too much to list, she was childhood friends with sonic they grew up together as well as the other freedom fighters shes fought to save her people from slavery from robotinik, she fought to get her family back, and shouldered so much at such a young age.

She stole the comic from sonic... what exactly did she steal?

heres a question,  what elements on sonic could have been explored that sally stole.

Sonic gives about as much a shit about his own life as a dog does about tax returns, there was NOTHING interesting about sonic sonic's adventures came from the people around him not sonic himself, Even looking at Satam sonic was the main hero but who was the drive plot for the story?  the freedom fighters, Robotnik, and Sally and her goal to locate her father. Yes sonic was the hero but he was not the driving force of the story Sally and the others were.

The same can be said with the comics, it carried on this story and honestly Sally having  a chance to be fleshed out more would only strengthen her form of character, yeah its called sonic the hedgehog , okay what? just sonic? if you want just sonic go play the classic games. If all the hated was shut down at an earlier time Sally could have well been on the same level as sonic in terms of being loved by everyone.

Sadly I believe the real issue isn't what can be done now, but what should have been down earlier, alot of people blame penders, like hes is honestly the "eggman" of archie comies at this point, and Ian Flynn was forced into the positions where he had to write the comic as such. here my response I. Don't. Care.  I call archie at fault for not having a better relationship with there staff and between writers, I blame penders for being hard up with her characters  and ideas trying to have the spotlight, and I blame Flynn for derailing the characters and basically making everyone worthless except the SEGA cast, and I blame the Archie editing department for letting shit like this slid so fucking easily.

....for those that had were comatose the last 6 months, true sally fans hate the new design because its NOT SALLY TO US! Nor are the other freedom fighters there all simplified and nothing but recolors of others. All the hatred towards sally comes form  fuck nuts who don't know how to read. Again this  falls under what I said before how archie and SEGA a like have divided up everyone, now we have people that hate sally and now we have people that love sally but hate her look and its just all getting jumbled together, and Sonic boom is only going to do more damage as such. Even by Gods mercy the series is actually good this will still happen.



If these idiots had just accepted sally and sonic as a duo of the series  we wouldn't be having this conversation right now.

Sally was made my SEGA amy came from some spinoff manga, Amy represents a stereotype  
Sally represents a unique character and her designs stands out. New sally is a reflection of today's society  and is amy a stereotype, The only way they can fix 1/3 of the damage is to bring back the only universe or at the very LEAST  tie it in with the present story and filter it back to the old universe like for example.

Everyones memories start to weight on them and they want to try to find a way to undo the time shift to see there families again, this could be an ongoing saga, that way the new looks can stay ( for the time being) Archie can sort there fucking shit out and once they do they can put everything back the way it was. IF this was there setup I would still possible read the comics but that is if the writers aren't hateful and just say "fuck that" and make the comic do loops in terms of the driving story. And again  Writers of any kind if you dis like  character or love a character thats fine, loving cast characters and giving them the spotlight is okay but you DO NOT let it show in your work OR bring others down, that favoritism and most writers need to keep in mind they are writing for other people NOT themselves.  


And I say this message to all Sally and Sonally fans Make sure you have idea for defense pictures and articles, Because once sonic boom starts we're going have TONS of idiots using that trying to shoot sally down and make her look terrible  now that amy "APPEARS" as more mature  but even so after 20 years she will always be a brain nearsighted fangirl ,that uses magic to make herself older.
